Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Northfield Psychiatric Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients' mental health conditions to devise effective and personalized treatment plans.

• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions by employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques that promote personal growth and emotional well-being.

• Collaboratively setting therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitoring their progress throughout the treatment process.

• Providing teletherapy options for clients, especially those with mobility limitations or who reside in underserved areas.

• Maintaining clear and precise documentation to uphold ethical standards and ensure continuity of care.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and remain current with innovative therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting a diverse client base that includes couples, children, adolescents, and families. You will be equipped to address various mental health issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction, while also focusing on culturally responsive care for clients of color and those in the LGBTQIA community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A current state-issued license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of full-time counseling experience with proven capability in diverse client settings.

• Experience working with couples, children, youths, and families, with a focus on inclusivity in care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
