Work Environment\n

The work setting at New Path is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to create a balanced work-life schedule while still being able to deliver impactful mental health services. The standard work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate urgent patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to capture the unique backgrounds and experiences of patients, enabling personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring that cultural considerations are woven into every aspect of care.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health issues while promoting resilience and emotional well-being.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health care professionals to craft comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies—actively assessing situations and ensuring immediate support.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and resources in the community to encourage proactive management.

• Maintain and document accurate, confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Oregon.

• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities with a specific focus on cultural responsiveness.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally safe and inclusive strategies.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the capacity to stay composed under pressure while addressing urgent patient needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation and proficiency in general health care information technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
