Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work on-site in our welcoming outpatient office in East Brunswick, which serves as a vibrant community hub for rehabilitation. The position requires working a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, allowing for an established routine that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and create personalized treatment plans for patients referred by their physicians, ensuring alignment with their medical histories and rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions and techniques, utilizing evidence-based practices that maximize patients' recovery potential.
• Work closely within an interdisciplinary team to ensure cohesive patient care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on effective home exercises and lifestyle adjustments that aid in recovery.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and promptly to maintain transparency and facilitate continuous patient care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from a recognized and accredited institution is mandatory.

• At least two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant acute or outpatient setting.
• Current CPR certification to ensure adherence to safety protocols.

• Strong competency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other practice management software.
• An empathetic approach and a strong desire to build trusting relationships with patients to help them achieve their functional goals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting is required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in outpatient therapy who possess specialized skills in handling various patient populations, particularly those recovering from sports injuries or surgical interventions.
