Work Environment

This position is based in Charlottesville, Virginia, and requires working onsite in patients' homes. Stalwart Rehabilitation Center operates within a supportive environment that encourages collaboration amongst clinicians. With a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, you will work Monday through Friday, allowing for a manageable schedule conducive to work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their functional abilities and limitations, followed by developing tailored treatment plans based on physicians' referrals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions for various patient needs, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions, applying a holistic approach to care.
• Utilize advanced techniques and procedures to facilitate recovery, ensuring consistency with the physician's prescribed plan of care.
• Deliver education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment protocols, expected outcomes, and home exercise programs.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, contributing positively to the overall patient experience while actively collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
• Meet and exceed productivity goals to support departmental efficiency and organizational objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse patient population encompassing various age groups and conditions, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation. With Stalwart Rehabilitation Center's individualized care approach, you will be instrumental in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, developing tailored solutions that promote their active re-engagement in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• Current state licensure in physical therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to fostering strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Ability to utilize word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

While a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is a great asset, applicants with relevant work experience in home healthcare or community-based rehabilitation services will be particularly favored. Demonstrated capability to engage with patients effectively and a passion for delivering top-quality care are essential to flourish in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
