This full-time position is focused on providing exceptional mental health care to individuals facing eating disorders, such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. Regular business hours are maintained from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients’ eating disorder symptoms, evaluate co-occurring mental health conditions, and identify specific treatment needs.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with patients to set realistic and attainable recovery goals.
\n
• Administer evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailored to each client’s progress.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions focused on reshaping clients' perceptions of body image, food, and self-worth.

• Help clients build healthy coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation skills, and develop effective methods to resist disordered eating habits.

• Work closely with an interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure coordinated care and address the holistic needs of each patient.

• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their support networks to cultivate a deeper understanding of eating disorders, enhancing the overall recovery experience.

• Document client progress, treatment plans, and sessions in a detailed, timely manner adhering to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensing as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapies for eating disorders, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.

• A robust understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and accompanying psychological conditions.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with a diverse client base.
