This position will operate primarily from a remote setting, expertly designed to support mental health professionals in their dedication to client care while ensuring an engaging and collaborative atmosphere. You will utilize advanced electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, to efficiently manage client information and treatment progress. Regular video conferencing tools will be employed to maintain effective communication with peers and clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations through preliminary interviews, carefully documenting clients' histories and concerns from the initial consultation to the culmination of treatment.

• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that aptly address the complexities of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral challenges, ensuring each plan is tailored to the individual, couple, family, or group.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe space for clients to explore their challenges and work towards achieving their goals.

• Monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making necessary adjustments to care plans as needed.

• Engage closely with other mental health professionals, medical doctors, and social workers to formulate and implement interdisciplinary intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up care and communication with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospital services.
\n
• Assist family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

• Identify barriers to recovery and implement proactive strategies to prevent setbacks in clients' treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will include diverse populations facing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) in the state of California.

• A successful pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling services, with an understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
