Work Environment\n

This position is a full-time remote role, where you will engage with clients primarily through our outpatient office setting. Our work schedule typically spans Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility to accommodate specific patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to uncover patients' unique psychological experiences, which will inform their individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-informed therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique cultural and personal background, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing patients' mental health concerns and fostering resilience.

• Collaboratively work with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other multidisciplinary professionals to provide seamless and coordinated care.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations, offering immediate support and interventions as needed during mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate actively in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and sharing best practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and cultural competency training to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is essential.

• A profound understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and cultural competency is crucial.

• Proven experience in delivering individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive techniques.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities and a demonstrated capacity to remain poised and supportive in high-stress situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000.
