Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a real impact as a Special Education Teacher working with a supportive elementary setting near Ringgold, GA! This contract opportunity begins July 29th and extends through May 21st, 2027—including valuable pre-planning days to prepare for a successful school year. You'll teach in an inclusive classroom serving approximately 8–10 students in PreK–2nd grade, a group primarily made up of first and second graders, with some kindergartners.

Students present with autism, significant developmental delays, speech/language delays, self-regulation challenges, and learning disabilities. While true toileting/diapering is not required, one student has a toileting goal and will require supervision during changes.

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching License
• Valid P-12 Special Education Endorsement
• Dyslexia Endorsement
• Experience with elementary-aged special education populations preferred
• Expertise supporting students with autism, speech/language delays, and diverse learning needs
• Ability to work collaboratively in an inclusion setting

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specially designed instruction within an inclusive classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, including a toileting goal for one student
• Use evidence-based strategies for academic, behavioral, and communication support
• Foster a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
