Work Environment

Located in Miramar Beach, our outpatient office thrives in a vibrant community where our team fosters a collaborative spirit. The physical workspace is designed to be welcoming and accessible, equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and resources necessary for effective patient care. Your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans focused on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.
• Supervise and guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and functional activities aimed at promoting recovery and relieving pain.
• Educate patients on effective body mechanics and provide detailed home exercise programs to support their rehabilitation efforts.
• Administer various treatment modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and thermotherapy, as clinically indicated.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, monitoring and reporting on range of motion and strength improvements.
• Prepare treatment spaces, ensuring that necessary equipment and materials are organized and readily available.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team by sharing insights and strategies to optimize patient care and recovery.
• Foster emotional support and encouragement, creating a positive rehabilitation environment for all patients.
• Adhere to all professional standards and ethical guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors seeking to regain mobility following surgical procedures. Your empathetic approach and commitment to patient-centered care will be vital in addressing their unique needs and fostering a supportive environment throughout their rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a relevant physical therapy setting.
• Possession of a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

While one year of experience is required, candidates with additional certifications or training in specialized rehabilitation techniques, such as manual therapy or sports rehabilitation, will be given preference. Experience working in an outpatient setting is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
