Work Environment

As a member of our onsite rehabilitation team, you will work in a collaborative environment where professional growth and innovation are encouraged. The facility operates from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. You will engage with a diverse population of patients, utilizing individualized care plans tailored to their specific needs, all while collaborating closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the diverse objectives and requirements of each patient, ensuring personalized therapy approaches.
• Manage a consistent patient load, typically one patient per hour, to deliver focused and individualized treatment sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer effective therapies aimed at improving mobility and reducing pain.
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Encourage patients to embrace non-surgical alternatives and reduce reliance on medication through holistic approaches.
• Design tailored fitness and wellness programs that foster recovery and enhance physical health.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal results.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment, progress, and any adjustments needed in their regimen.
• Maintain detailed records of patient services and outcomes, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our center primarily serves patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. You will work with individuals ranging from athletes seeking rehabilitation post-injury to seniors requiring assistance with mobility limitations. Building trusting relationships with patients and their families is a core aspect of our practice, as we strive to create a supportive atmosphere that promotes engagement and motivation during recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapy license to practice in the state of Florida.
• An impeccable professional record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and physical assessment skills.
• Experience in designing and implementing personalized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• A background in sports rehabilitation or geriatric physical therapy is a plus.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits
