Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health conditions.
• Developing and executing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices tailored to patients’ needs.
• Prescribing and managing psychotropic medications while closely monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting dosages accordingly.
• Providing psychotherapy utilizing various modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT).
• Collaborating with colleagues to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring continuity and efficacy of treatment.
• Educating patients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation and electronic health records (EHR), ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
