Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Bayonne. Our clinic features cutting-edge equipment and a supportive team atmosphere, ensuring that you will have the resources needed to provide exceptional care. You will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced approach to work and personal commitments. As part of our team, you will have the autonomy to create your own schedule and influence patient assignments, fostering a flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to identify their individual needs and goals for treatment.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Monitor and document the progress of patients regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, effective home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Implement protocols for fall prevention and safety measures within the assisted living environment to reduce the risk of accidents.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy through training and education.
• Maintain adherence to ethical and professional standards in delivering care while keeping patient confidentiality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs) and familiarity with relevant documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with a geriatric population is highly preferred but not mandatory. Compensation and Benefits

Harmonic Motion PT offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
