Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Elizabeth, NJ. Our facility is designed to facilitate an enriching therapeutic experience, providing ample space and resources for effective treatment. As a member of our team, you will collaborate closely with fellow therapists and support staff in an environment that fosters teamwork and open communication. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, providing consistency for your clients while balancing your own professional development and work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations for clients, focusing on their individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the best practices in physical therapy while utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms, adjusting treatment plans to reflect client progress and evolving needs.
• Document patient interactions comprehensively using the company's electronic health record system, ensuring timely completion of SOAP notes and progress summaries.
• Educate clients and families about treatment processes, recovery timelines, and coping strategies to navigate challenges encountered during rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other therapists and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a cohesive approach for clients receiving multiple therapies.
• Engage actively in team meetings, sharing insights to promote a culture of continuous improvement and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Motion Menders Therapy, we serve a diverse array of clients, including children and adults from various backgrounds and with different diagnoses. This role allows you to interact with patients experiencing mobility issues, recovery from injury, and chronic pain management, among other conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure to practice physical therapy in New Jersey in good standing.
• Demonstrated ability to perform evaluations and provide treatments in-person and via telehealth when clinically appropriate.
• Strong passion for helping a diverse patient population with varying needs.

Compensation and Benefits
