Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Harmony in Motion, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and diagnosing patients' conditions to develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their individual therapy goals.
• Implementing therapeutic interventions that may include exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, modalities, and patient education to enhance their mobility and quality of life.
• Monitoring patient progress meticulously and documenting treatments, responses, and outcomes to inform ongoing clinical decision-making.
• Reevaluating and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes and to address changing patient needs.
• Guiding patients and their families on self-management strategies and preventive care, including instruction on the use of assistive devices and modifications for home or work environments.
• Engaging in continuous education through workshops, literature review, and professional development opportunities to maintain licensure and keep abreast of developments in physical therapy.
• Mentoring junior staff and new graduates, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population including children, adults, and the elderly, each with varying diagnoses such as post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and orthopedic concerns. Your skills will help facilitate their recovery journeys, enabling them to regain functionality and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate degree (DPT) is preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills to maintain comprehensive patient records.
• A passion for patient care and a desire to make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant clinical software.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers an attractive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
