Work Environment\n

This position will be performed in a fully remote capacity, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining strong communication and collaboration with our outpatient clinic team. You will utilize telehealth platforms to conduct sessions, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care wherever they are. Our clinic utilizes advanced electronic medical record systems to streamline patient documentation, making it easier for you to focus on your patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain positive, trusting relationships with patients, exhibiting empathy and understanding throughout the therapeutic process.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Provide regular counseling sessions, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations of patient progress and feedback.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster a supportive environment.
\n
• Record accurate patient information and treatment updates within our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing emotional distress, responding promptly and effectively to emergent needs.
\n
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals and specialists by making referrals when necessary for comprehensive patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. You will engage with clients from different backgrounds, which will require you to employ a range of therapeutic approaches to best meet their individual needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• A valid mental health licensure in the state of Washington, such as LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist).
\n
• Minimum of two years of experience providing outpatient mental health services, demonstrating an understanding of clinical and therapeutic practices.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with clients effectively.
\n
• Proficient in using technology, including word processing, email systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a telehealth environment is preferred, along with familiarity with virtual therapy techniques and tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
