Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms, taking into consideration their severity, frequency, and duration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with adults experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety. Our clients come from various backgrounds, reflecting the diverse community we serve in South Glens Falls. Understanding their unique cultural, social, and personal contexts is essential in developing effective treatment plans and fostering strong therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LPCC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of New York.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in utilizing evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to work collaboratively with medical professionals regarding client care.

• Proven experience in successfully delivering therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
