This position is primarily remote, allowing therapists to conduct therapeutic sessions in the comfort of clients' homes or in our outpatient office setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate individualized in-home or group therapy sessions to provide targeted support in behavioral health.

• Implement evidence-based approaches to manage behavioral challenges, such as anger management and social skills development.
\n
• Enhance decision-making skills among youth and caregivers to better navigate in-home challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and interdisciplinary professionals, including social workers and educators, to deliver comprehensive care.
\n
• Maintain accurate documentation within designated time frames, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments.
\n
• Participate actively in monthly team meetings and contribute valuable recommendations to improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who experience developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. As an LMFT, you will engage with a diverse cross-section of families, offering therapeutic support that caters to their unique needs and promoting overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• Possession of an active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
\n
• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4 PM - 7 PM), with added flexibility for weekends considered a plus.
\n
• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory for travel to client locations.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in providing positive behavior support to children and adolescents is highly desirable.
\n
• Experience working closely with children who have intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) will be viewed favorably.

• Experience and comfort working within diverse cultural settings and with bilingual populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
