Work Environment\n

As a member of our team, you will work in a supportive, flexible, and dynamic setting that allows for both in-home and outpatient therapy sessions. This remote position enables you to connect with families across the state of Texas while also utilizing our outpatient office in Laredo for client meetings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes educators, psychologists, and social workers, ensuring that treatment is holistic and integrated for optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy sessions in-home or at our outpatient center, addressing the unique needs of each child and their family.

• Implement therapeutic interventions focused on improving anger management, coping strategies, and social skills while actively reducing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior (SIB) and physical aggression.
\n
• Facilitate collaborative decision-making with youth and caregivers to address and manage behavioral challenges within the home environment.
\n
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with the Child and Family Treatment Team, ensuring seamless support from various professional disciplines involved in the child's care.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all required materials, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
\n
• Participate in monthly team meetings to share insights, discuss progress, and provide recommendations for care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on working with children and adolescents aged 3 to 20 who have developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges. As an LMFT at G&G Holistic, you will encounter a diverse range of cases that present unique therapeutic challenges, allowing you to make significant, positive impacts on the lives of both the children and their families. Your expertise will be essential in helping these youth navigate their emotional and behavioral hurdles to achieve a higher quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Texas is mandatory.
\n
• Availability for at least 5-10 hours per week, primarily during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with some flexibility on weekends preferred.

• Strong experience in providing positive behavior supports within therapeutic settings.
\n
• Proficient in bilingual communication (Spanish or Portuguese) is highly desirable.
\n
• Possession of a valid driver's license along with access to a registered vehicle for travel to client locations.
\n
• Successful completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working with children aged 3-20, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to create and implement therapy plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Experience in facilitating skills workshops, parent training, or community outreach efforts.

Compensation and Benefits\n
