Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team at Northeast Mental Therapy Clinic. This full-time position allows for remote work while providing outpatient mental health services. You will play a crucial role in promoting the well-being of clients, primarily focusing on youth mental health. The salary range for this position is between USD 65,000 and 80,000 annually.

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional boundaries and ethical standards.
• Conduct regular evaluations with clients to assess progress, ensure stability, discuss upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge plans when appropriate.
• Develop and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
• Exhibit meticulous documentation habits by keeping up-to-date progress notes and treatment documentation for each client.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to determine the mental health needs of new clients.
• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Engage in regular individual supervision sessions to enhance professional development and ensure quality care delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare providers and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
• Embrace a growth mindset, continually seeking out professional development opportunities to improve clinical skills.

This position primarily focuses on youth, addressing their unique mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and struggles associated with substance use. You will work with a diverse clientele, which presents the opportunity to apply various therapeutic modalities to best meet the evolving needs of the clients.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements specific to the clinical setting.
• A minimum of one year of experience in providing mental health care to psychiatric patients and/or individuals facing challenges due to substance abuse.
• Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.
• Comfortable using technology and proficient in using software for documentation and communication purposes.

• Experience working in outpatient settings demonstrating effective case management skills.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and protocols.
• Previous experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
