Questa Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality mental health counseling services through telehealth platforms. As a remote counselor at Questa Behavioral Health Center, you will operate within a fully virtual environment, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients. • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to identify client mental health needs and concerns.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's goals, employing evidence-based practices to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide both individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing interactive tools and methodologies suited for a telehealth environment.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date client records and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and professional standards.
• Coordinate care and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client wellness.
• Commit to continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and seminars relevant to mental health practices.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and regulatory standards governing the practice of counseling in a virtual format.

Your work will primarily involve supporting diverse client populations, including children, families, and adults dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. You will bring empathy and understanding to each interaction, tailoring your approach to suit the unique circumstances of every client. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping clients set and achieve their mental health goals.

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential valid in Texas.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• Strong background in counseling specific populations, such as children or trauma survivors, is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with clients.
• Capability to independently manage a caseload while being an active participant in team collaborations.

• Experience in providing therapy through telehealth platforms is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior work with specialized populations, such as the LGBTQIA+ community, veterans, or clients with severe mental illness, will be regarded as an asset.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 95,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus as well as opportunities for performance-based incentives.
