• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized therapy strategies that address the unique needs of each client.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, with a focus on fostering sustainable mental health improvements.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy, to engage clients effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and research to stay informed of the latest advancements in mental health.

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health services to individuals and families with limited access to care. You will engage with a diverse client population, addressing a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship challenges. Your therapeutic approach will be tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive the highest level of care.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with a diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and related technologies to efficiently manage client documentation.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse treatment, or trauma-informed care is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of engaging successfully with clients from various backgrounds and with differing needs.

• Annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
