Step to Freedom Counseling Center is seeking passionate and dedicated Telehealth Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to provide exceptional mental health services tailored to the unique needs of our clients. This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining a flexible schedule to promote a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth facility ensures that clients receive the same high-quality care they would expect in a traditional in-person setting. With a focus on collaborative care, our team of counselors works closely with various professionals to deliver comprehensive support.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs, developing individualized therapy strategies aimed at improving mental health.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, catering to individual, couples, and family settings.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in adherence to state laws and ethical guidelines, ensuring client confidentiality and care quality.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to create holistic treatment plans that consider the various aspects of each client's life and challenges.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and seminars to stay updated on current mental health practices and research findings.

Our clients encompass a diverse array of individuals and families, particularly those who have historically faced barriers to accessing mental health care. You will work with various populations dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship concerns. With an emphasis on empathy, you will provide a supportive environment that encourages clients to express themselves openly and work towards their therapeutic goals.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Must hold an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.
• At least two years of relevant counseling experience is essential, preferably within a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of and commitment to upholding ethical and legal standards within the counseling profession.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the capability to establish rapport and trust across a diverse clientele.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use counseling will be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to evolving client needs and treatment requirements.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and telehealth technology is preferred.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
