Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries and develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, modalities, and assistive technologies to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Document each treatment session meticulously, tracking patient responses and progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Regularly reassess patient conditions and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving therapeutic goals.
• Guide patients and their families in the proper use of assistive devices and techniques, ensuring comfort and safety at home.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and collaborate on complex cases for comprehensive patient care.
• Engage in continuing education workshops and training sessions to stay current with best practices and advance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors, each presenting unique rehabilitation challenges. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.

• Basic computer and word processing skills to maintain accurate records and communicate with team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
