Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' trauma histories, strengths, and needs, aiding in the formulation of effective treatment plans.

• Develop and implement tailored, evidence-based treatment plans designed to promote trauma recovery and resilience. This may involve utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, assisting clients in processing their trauma experiences, developing healthy coping mechanisms, and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and holistic care for all clients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support in response to trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating the ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families on the effects of trauma, various coping strategies, and community resources available for additional support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring client privacy and data integrity.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development focused on advancing trauma-informed therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals who have experienced varying levels of trauma, including adults suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and often seek therapeutic support for the impact of traumatic experiences on their mental health and daily functioning.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in trauma-informed therapy practices.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective, evidence-based treatment modalities focused on trauma recovery.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, embracing a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
