Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite, where you will travel to the homes of patients within the Cypress area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries within their home environments.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations.
• Utilize a wide variety of therapeutic techniques including exercises, stretching protocols, manual therapy, and specialized equipment.
• Monitor progress closely and document treatments and responses, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet patient goals.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on assistive devices and effective physical therapy strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and engaging with peers in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse pool of patients ranging from children to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Our clients may have suffered from orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-operative conditions, or chronic illnesses. The goal is to support each individual's journey toward recovery in the comfort of their own home, ensuring they have every resource necessary to regain their independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred)
• Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related setting, particularly in home care or outpatient therapy
• Previous experience providing physical therapy to geriatric and pediatric populations is highly valued

Compensation and Benefits
