Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs and concerns of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities, which may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions that aim to address emotional disturbances and behavioral challenges in young individuals.

• In crises, provide immediate intervention strategies to support children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive and comprehensive mental health care for patients.

• Share knowledge and resources with families, helping them understand their child’s mental health issues and available treatment options.
\n
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular team meetings to discuss case management and share insights, promoting continuous improvement in therapy practices.

• Stay current with best practices in child and adolescent mental health by attending professional development workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role emphasizes working with children and adolescents facing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Family involvement is critical, and therapists are expected to engage parents and guardians in the therapeutic process to foster better outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC valid in California.
\n
• Strong familiarity with child and adolescent mental health disorders and appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct therapeutic sessions with children and their families effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a particular focus on maintaining a child-centered approach.

• Experience in utilizing electronic health record systems is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses. Additionally, we offer a generous sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
