Work Environment

The Rehabilitation Center in Roseville provides a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere where teamwork and communication are paramount. As a member of our team, you will work alongside two physical therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), allowing for an integrated approach to treatment and patient management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' needs, setting clear, achievable goals for their rehabilitation journey.
• Manage a case load efficiently, providing tailored one-on-one treatment sessions with each patient, typically seeing one patient per hour.
• Utilize a variety of orthopedic techniques to enhance patients' mobility, ensuring the development of customized treatment plans that reflect their individual challenges and recovery goals.
• Implement evidence-based interventions aimed at reducing reliance on pharmaceuticals and surgical options by promoting natural recovery methods.
• Develop and implement specialized fitness and wellness programs to meet the specific physical needs of each patient based on their therapy outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient progress thoroughly to adapt treatment plans in a timely manner, fostering open communication with patients regarding their rehabilitation progress.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals including physicians and occupational therapists for a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment process to enhance their functionality and independence.
• Promote a culture of preventive care by advising patients on lifestyle changes that improve overall well-being, including strength training, flexibility exercises, and balance coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our focus is primarily on orthopedic patients who have a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, or post-surgical needs. These patients seek our services to alleviate pain, restore mobility, and achieve their functional goals. You will engage with a diverse population, providing crucial support and rehabilitation to individuals ranging from athletes to older adults. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with an unblemished professional record devoid of disciplinary actions.
• Strong skills in manual therapy techniques along with a track record of successfully implementing exercise protocols tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly WebPT, is highly preferred for efficient patient documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Previous hands-on experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing individualized treatment plans that reflect in improved patient outcomes.
• Previous exposure to a multidisciplinary healthcare environment also enhances your ability to collaborate effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive a competitive compensation package, with an annual salary ranging between USD 120,000 and 130,000, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
