Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments that evaluate each patient's history, current condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation goals, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on detailed assessment findings, prioritizing patient engagement to ensure adherence to treatment protocols.
• Guide patients through their rehabilitation journeys, using education, progressive exercise prescriptions, and advanced manual therapy techniques to maximize recovery.
• Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to reflect patient progress, utilizing outcome measures to track improvements and refine strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to provide integrated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation, including postoperative recovery from surgeries such as knee and shoulder replacements, as well as individuals suffering from various musculoskeletal conditions. You will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from athletes seeking to return to sports to elderly patients aiming for improved mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• A clean professional record, without any past board actions or disciplinary measures taken against your license.
• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic physical rehabilitation, demonstrating a deep understanding of rehabilitation principles.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a demonstrated ability to employ these methods effectively to enhance patient care.
• Experience in developing robust exercise regimens tailored to the specific needs of patients, ensuring progression and safety.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits
