Work Environment

This position is onsite, requiring your presence at various client homes throughout Roseville and its neighboring communities. You will work Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that clients receive the necessary care and support on their rehabilitation journeys. Flexible travel within the locality allows you to build positive relationships with patients and their families, making a significant impact on their healing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical limitations and functional impairments related to musculoskeletal conditions.
• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the specific needs and goals of each patient, incorporating manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and other appropriate interventions.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy approaches, including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilizations, and tailored stretching programs to alleviate pain and enhance patients' range of motion.
• Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients on prescribed exercise regimens designed to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination, ensuring safe and effective participation.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient evaluations, treatment strategies, progress notes, and discharge summaries to keep a comprehensive record that meets regulatory and quality standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse population, including elderly patients, individuals recovering from surgeries, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients managing other physical challenges. Your approach will emphasize empathy and understanding, helping to foster trust and cooperation with each individual, which is crucial for successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapist License issued by the State of California is required.
• Possession of a National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy degree program.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in outpatient orthopedic settings or private practice environments.
• Demonstrated exceptional manual therapy skills and clinical reasoning abilities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to educate patients and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
