Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, allowing you to balance personal and professional commitments effectively. You will interact regularly with a vibrant team of child psychiatrists and mental health specialists during our scheduled team meetings and case consultations, ensuring a cohesive approach to client care. The hours are generally Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate the needs of our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and adolescents to accurately evaluate their needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account developmental stages, cultural influences, and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other strategies tailored to the unique needs of young clients.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions focusing on strengthening the family unit and promoting a supportive home environment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment strategy that addresses all aspects of a child’s mental health.

• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Deliver education to patients and their families about mental health issues, available treatment modalities, and local community resources.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage actively in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with children and adolescents who experience a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Your compassionate and child-centered methodology will be instrumental in building trust and rapport with families, allowing for a supportive therapeutic alliance that promotes positive outcomes and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in New York State as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R .

• Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent mental health diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, emphasizing a compassionate approach when engaging with clients and their families.

• Experience in delivering individual and family therapy with a proven ability to address the needs of young clients.

• Familiarity with using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 110,000 per year, along with performance-based bonuses and a generous sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
