Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients using validated tools and methodologies.

• Work collaboratively with clients to co-create individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique goals and preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring all methods are aligned with best practice standards.

• Provide holistic education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making informed adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists must be equipped to engage with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and life experiences, adapting strategies to suit varying perspectives and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active, valid license as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in the state of New York.

• Strong foundational knowledge and expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly in managing mood disorders.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish effective communication with clients, ensuring a supportive therapeutic environment.
