Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, focusing on musculoskeletal health and determining necessary therapy interventions.
• Designing and implementing customized physical therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs, ensuring alignment with their personal health goals.
• Tracking patient progress meticulously, adjusting therapy techniques and strategies as necessary to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to deliver a well-rounded and coordinated approach to patient care, facilitating effective communication on patient status and treatment plans.
• Educating patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation practices, and relevant self-care techniques to enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from various musculoskeletal injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. This may include post-operative rehabilitation for joint replacements, sports-related injuries, and conditions such as arthritis or tendonitis. You will assess and address the physical challenges faced by patients of diverse ages and activity levels, providing the necessary tools and support to facilitate their recovery.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, particularly in managing and treating orthopedic injuries and conditions.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic conditions, with a proven ability to apply effective treatment methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient education and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with additional certifications in specialized areas of orthopedic rehabilitation, such as dry needling, manual therapy, or sports rehabilitation. Prior experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting is also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
