Work Environment

This position is situated onsite at our modern rehabilitation center in Boca Raton, known for its welcoming atmosphere and collaborative spirit. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations within 24 hours of physician referral, allowing for timely intervention and optimal outcomes.

• Develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans in collaboration with referring physicians, ensuring adherence to industry practices and standards.

• Administer tailored therapeutic interventions in accordance with the physician's recommendations while showcasing expertise in various treatment modalities.

• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants, guiding them in delivering high-quality patient care and facilitating their professional growth.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, providing insights into patient progress and collaborating with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

• Conduct in-service training sessions to educate staff on best practices and innovative treatment approaches.

• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with the state practice act and regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Facilitate discharge planning, including educating patients and families about self-care techniques and home exercise programs.

• Evaluate and recommend durable medical equipment to enhance patient independence and mobility post-treatment.

• Proactively maintain and report any issues related to therapy equipment to ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals of all ages requiring rehabilitation due to orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and neurological impairments. As part of our commitment to patient care, you will play a crucial role in developing individualized treatment plans that address specific recovery needs, ensuring that each patient receives the attention and support necessary to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current Florida State Licensure as a Physical Therapist.

• Minimum of two years of professional experience practicing in a similar rehabilitation setting.

• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

• Multi-tasking capabilities to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• A driven self-starter who is eager to contribute to patient outcomes and team objectives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedics, including exercise therapy and manual therapy techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to engage in sports rehabilitation.

• Background in supervising and training support staff, particularly in a rehabilitation focus.

Compensation and Benefits

You will receive a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
