Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the homes of our patients, providing the unique opportunity to deliver therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment for individuals recovering from various orthopedic ailments. Typically, you will work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations to develop tailored treatment plans focused on their specific orthopedic conditions.
• Implement and monitor individualized rehabilitation programs incorporating exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to optimize recovery.
• Utilize cutting-edge rehabilitation tools and technologies to enhance patient outcomes. This may include the use of therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, and other modalities as indicated.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive and cohesive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on self-management techniques, injury prevention strategies, and home exercise programs to facilitate ongoing recovery and independence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in continuing education activities to remain current with best practices in orthopedic therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of patients ranging from young athletes recovering from injuries to older adults managing chronic orthopedic conditions. Your adaptability and ability to create trusting relationships are essential as you tailor your approach to meet each patient's unique needs and circumstances.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active state license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of direct patient care experience, particularly in orthopedic settings.
• Exceptional clinical assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on effective communication and patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or certification in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Experience working in home health care or community-based therapy settings.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with performance-based bonuses.
