Work Environment\n

This full-time position is entirely remote, allowing you to deliver care through our telehealth platform. Our work setting fosters flexibility, empowering you to engage with patients in a manner that best suits their preferences and schedules. Our virtual office atmosphere is collaborative and supportive, promoting ongoing communication with colleagues to deliver integrated care. The typical work schedule spans Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient demand.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments using a trauma-informed lens to evaluate patients' histories and needs, guiding your development of effective treatment plans.

• Implement individualized treatment plans concentrating on trauma recovery and resilience, ensuring each plan is tailored to the patient’s specific challenges and experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a space for patients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and foster community support.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver cohesive mental health support, especially during critical moments requiring crisis intervention.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources, empowering them to take active roles in their healing journeys.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient progress and treatment compliance, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance your understanding of trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in trauma therapy to continually hone your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on patients who have experienced various forms of trauma, including but not limited to emotional abuse, physical violence, or prolonged stress. Your work will not only address immediate mental health issues but will also lay the groundwork for long-term resilience and recovery for each individual, significantly improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
\n
• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting, particularly focusing on trauma.
\n
• A solid understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care practices.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

• Capability to remain composed during high-stress situations, ensuring optimal patient care even in emergencies.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and overall proficiency with digital communication tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic methodologies and a track record of working as part of a multidisciplinary team will further enhance your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n
