Work Environment

This role is situated onsite within our Surgical Center, where collaboration and teamwork are prioritized. Our schedule operates Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced work-life arrangement while maintaining a commitment to patient-focused care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations, reviewing patients' medical histories to assess health status.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies, to inform treatment decisions.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to diagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic health conditions in alignment with family medicine guidelines.
• Develop tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, including diabetes and hypertension, as well as for infectious diseases.
• Prescribe medications, assess their efficacy, and make necessary adjustments based on patient responses.
• Maintain organized and accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and ongoing health assessments.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, preventive measures, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Oversee holistic patient management to promote overall well-being and health maintenance.
• Actively participate in team meetings focusing on quality improvement and patient care strategies.
• Stay current with advancements in primary care and actively seek opportunities for professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physician Assistant will predominantly serve a diverse patient population at the Surgical Center, ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. Patients may present with acute conditions requiring immediate attention as well as chronic health issues that necessitate ongoing management. The PA will play a critical role in fostering patient relationships, ensuring a patient-centered approach that emphasizes education, empowerment, and support throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.
• Active certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant with a current DEA registration.
• Strong foundation in family medicine with proven experience in a clinical setting, particularly in primary care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
• A detail-oriented approach, coupled with a strong commitment to ethical patient care practices.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience as a Physician Assistant, ideally in a family health clinic or similar setting.

• Prior experience in a surgical center or outpatient setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
