Work Environment

Located in the heart of Yorktown Heights, our outpatient facility is designed to create a welcoming and comforting experience for patients. The working hours typically span Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics extending until 8:00 p.m. While a standard full-time workload averages around 40 hours per week, there may be opportunities for participation in weekend outreach events and health fairs that further engage with the community. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough health assessments and screenings for families, ensuring personalized and holistic care.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions, focusing on preventive care and health promotion strategies.
• Collaborate actively with community organizations and social services to create and deliver targeted health education programs.
• Provide culturally sensitive care and serve as an advocate for patient rights, helping individuals navigate the complexities of the healthcare system.
• Establish and coordinate patient referrals, ensuring continuity in care and follow-up services.
• Accurately maintain medical records in compliance with all regulatory standards, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system efficiently.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining professional standards of care.

• Currently, we are looking for candidates with at least three years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in community health, family practice, or public health.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Pedi Joy Nurse Specialists offers a highly competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $200,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
