Bistro Walk-in Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our team in Ossining, New York. In this full-time role, you will be integral in delivering holistic healthcare services to individuals and families in our diverse community. Work Environment

This role primarily operates onsite, allowing you to engage with patients face-to-face while providing care directly within the community. The typical schedule is from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m. Weekend participation in community outreach events or health fairs may also be required. You will work approximately 40 hours per week, with the flexibility to adapt your hours to better serve our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for patients, ensuring no detail is overlooked, and offer tailored recommendations based on individuals' medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic health conditions, using your clinical expertise to create personalized care plans that emphasize preventive care.
• Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement targeted health education programs that reflect the specific needs of the population.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and access to healthcare services, ensuring that care is culturally sensitive and respects the diversity of the community.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care meticulously, making certain that every patient receives the attention and continuity they deserve.
• Maintain detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards, utilizing electronic health record systems to manage patient information effectively.
• Engage actively in community outreach events and health fairs to promote awareness about local health issues and provide essential health screenings.
• Remain informed about the latest trends in community health, evidence-based practices, and relevant health policies to enhance care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active nursing license in the state of New York.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing, with a strong preference for candidates possessing a Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience, ideally in a community health or public health setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective partnerships with diverse patient populations.
• A firm commitment to social justice, health equity, and advocating for the needs of vulnerable communities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in concierge medicine, house calls, or similar primary care settings.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
