Our mental health counseling setting is outpatient-focused, allowing therapists to engage with clients through structured therapy sessions and supportive communication. You will have access to state-of-the-art digital tools to facilitate remote counseling, ensuring a high-quality experience for both you and your clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Coordinate and document transitions of care from inpatient settings, ensuring seamless communication and support between hospital staff and clients during discharge processes.
\n
• Utilize crisis de-escalation strategies effectively, providing milieu support as the designated Clinician of the Day to stabilize individuals in acute distress.
\n
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop comprehensive safety plans tailored to each client's unique situation.
\n
• Ensure that all documentation, including assessments and treatment notes, are completed on the same day to provide timely support for clients at risk of crisis service interaction.
\n
• Complete critical incident reporting promptly, within 24 hours, to maintain compliance and enhance service quality.
\n
• Participate in after-hours phone support on an alternating basis to provide ongoing care coordination and assistance to clients in need.
\n
• Work proactively with clients to alleviate the necessity for crisis interventions, focusing on preventive strategies and early intervention.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date crisis alerts and coordinate with county crisis services to ensure comprehensive support for participants.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse group of individuals facing a range of mental health challenges. This may include individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma histories, and other mental health conditions. Your role will focus on advocating for client rights, promoting autonomy, and addressing individual needs to enhance overall quality of life. By utilizing a personalized approach to therapy, you will help clients develop coping strategies and support systems that empower them in their daily lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An independent license to practice in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
