Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess specific orthopedic conditions and determine the best course of treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize therapeutic modalities and exercises aimed at improving patient mobility and reducing pain.
• Instruct patients and their families on wellness strategies, rehabilitation exercises, and postoperative care to foster understanding and adherence to treatment.
• Consistently document patient progress and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate regularly with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient progress and adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and uphold ethical standards within the practice environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist at Optimal Flex, you will work primarily with patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active state Physical Therapist license for Florida.
• A minimum of three years of professional experience in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
• Strong understanding of designing rehabilitation plans specifically tailored to orthopedic conditions.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities for effective collaboration with patients, families, and team members.
