Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical conditions and identifying specific symptoms that impair their mobility.
• Evaluating movement dysfunction through various diagnostic methods and developing tailored treatment plans that meet individual patient needs.
• Implementing therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as stimulation and massage to promote healing and recovery.
• Educating patients and their families on proper techniques for therapeutic exercises, as well as optimal use of rehabilitation equipment like wheelchairs and walkers.
• Keeping meticulous records of patient progress, including treatment plans and outcomes, to ensure continuity of care and effective tracking of rehabilitation goals.
• Offering guidance on in-home treatment options, exercise recommendations, and wellness strategies to support recovery post-discharge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists work with a wide range of patients, from young children recovering from sports injuries to older adults facing mobility challenges due to chronic conditions or post-surgery rehabilitation. We cater to a diverse clientele with varying needs, and our therapists are trained to offer specialized care tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of California.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families, as well as with fellow healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in computer skills and word processing, necessary for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• A commitment to continuous learning and flexibility in adapting to changes in treatment practices and patient needs.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in the physical therapy field, particularly in rehabilitation settings, is highly valued. Candidates with two years of relevant experience, especially those with a background in pediatric or geriatric therapy, will be given preference. Mentorship is available for recent graduates, providing a supportive transition into a rewarding career.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a full benefits package that includes:
