Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical conditions through comprehensive assessments to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques, including therapeutic exercises, hands-on manual techniques, and advanced equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback.
• Guide and educate patients, caregivers, and family members on effective therapies and the proper use of assistive devices.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of treatments, progress, and other clinical data.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops and participating in professional networks to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will range from children recovering from sports injuries to elderly individuals needing rehabilitation after surgery. The work you do directly impacts their recovery trajectories and overall well-being. You will address varied conditions such as muscular injuries, post-operative care, neurological disorders, and chronic pain management, ensuring that each patient receives the personalized care they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills to document and manage patient records and treatment plans.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to meet patients' varying needs.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, any hands-on experience or internships in physical therapy will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
