Work Environment\n

This full-time position operates primarily in a remote setting, providing flexibility while ensuring that you can effectively support students and their families. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with educational staff, parents, and community organizations to establish a supportive environment conducive to mental health and academic success. Core work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, although occasional evening or weekend hours may be required based on client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapies to students experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders.

• Engage with students both virtually and when necessary, in school settings, to offer direct clinical services and facilitate group therapy sessions.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals, to meet each student's unique needs.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in team meetings to advance collective goals and ensure a unified approach to client care.

• Provide crisis intervention services as required, demonstrating sound judgment and immediate problem-solving skills.

Your primary focus will be on the adolescent population within the school system, addressing a diverse range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and emotional disturbances.
