Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Conduct initial evaluations by consulting with patients to gain a thorough understanding of their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal recovery outcomes.
• Teach patients appropriate therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they are equipped to continue their recovery at home.
• Administer various therapeutic modalities, including massages and manual therapy techniques, to promote healing.
• Assist patients in the proper utilization of rehabilitation equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers to enhance mobility.
• Carefully maintain patient records, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Advise patients and their families on home exercise programs and in-house treatment options to encourage ongoing rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficiency in word processing and basic computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.
• A highly flexible and agile approach to patient care, demonstrating adaptability to various patient needs and scenarios.

Preferred Experience

While no prior experience is required, a minimum of 2 years in a clinical physical therapy setting is preferred. Candidates with particularly relevant experience in rehabilitation will be given preference.
