Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools to thoroughly evaluate the psychosocial needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments, integrating developmental considerations, family dynamics, and evidence-based practices.

• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to engage parents in the therapeutic process, equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive home environment.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals on treatment plans to ensure holistic and coordinated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies while ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment progress, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in adherence with HIPAA and ethical standards to contribute to comprehensive patient records.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated on the latest research in child and adolescent psychiatry to bring innovative approaches to therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on addressing the mental health needs of children and adolescents, from early childhood through late adolescence. You will work with patients facing challenges such as emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and psychological disorders, requiring specialized and empathic treatment tailored to their age and development stage. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that young individuals receive adequate support and guidance through challenging life circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic methods pertinent to child and adolescent mental health.

• Experience in delivering both individual and family therapy tailored to a young demographic.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a child-centered, compassionate ethos.

• Proficiency in employing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside additional performance bonuses.
