Caring Physical Therapy in Yonkers, New York, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to become an integral part of our outpatient rehabilitation team. Work Environment

Situated in the vibrant city of Yonkers, the clinic provides a supportive and collaborative onsite work environment. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility to accommodate patient schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, focusing on enhancing their physical abilities and functional mobility.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises tailored to their specific needs, ensuring correct form and technique to prevent injury.
• Educate patients and their families on effective body mechanics and home exercises to reinforce rehabilitation work outside the clinic.
• Administer various modalities, such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and manual therapy techniques to manage pain and enhance recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, assessing their improvements and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Prepare treatment areas by ensuring all therapeutic equipment is clean, functional, and well-organized for efficient use during sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Occupational and Speech-Language Therapists, to optimize patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their rehabilitation journey, fostering a supportive environment that inspires recovery.
• Adhere strictly to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and promoting their rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

Compensation and Benefits
