Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Ridgefield Park facility, you will work onsite in a vibrant and supportive atmosphere designed for optimal patient care. You will operate within a schedule that typically spans Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring ample time for patient interactions and program development while maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations to assess patient needs, including functional movement analysis and pain assessments.
• Design and implement tailored therapeutic exercise programs focused on functional recovery, strength enhancement, pain relief, and mobility improvement.
• Engage in daily collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to establish cohesive care strategies, share patient insights, and collectively adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Perform one-on-one therapy sessions that prioritize individualized attention, enabling you to closely monitor patient progress and adjust treatment techniques for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery methodologies, providing them with at-home exercise routines and self-management strategies to enhance their healing journey.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient progress meticulously in our electronic medical record system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse population, treating individuals recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic pain, and addressing injuries from sports and daily activities. The treatments will be tailored to various age groups, ensuring that every patient receives individualized care catered to their specific condition and lifestyle needs.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; elevated qualifications like a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) are preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with a collaborative mindset and a patient-centered approach.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience in outpatient care is advantageous but new graduates with educational internships or clinical rotations are welcome to apply.
• A demonstrated passion for continuing education, innovation in therapy practices, and staying updated with evidence-based treatments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience, along with performance incentives.
