Union Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and licensed mental health therapists to fill full-time positions in a remote telehealth setting. As a vital member of our clinical team, you will engage with clients via virtual consultations to provide therapeutic support aimed at improving overall mental health and well-being. Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, utilizing a telehealth platform to connect with clients. You will have the flexibility to conduct sessions from your home or preferred workspace while maintaining a structured work schedule, typically from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on client needs. This enables you to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting the demands of your caseload in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments during initial consultations to ascertain each client's needs and strengths, leading to the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions, helping clients connect with shared experiences and learn coping strategies.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and ancillary healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention services when required, effectively managing acute mental health situations with a calm and reassuring presence.
\n
• Educate clients on mental health topics, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their healing journey.
\n
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with all legal, organizational, and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security of client records.

• Engage in case consultations with peers, participate in team meetings, and contribute to ongoing professional development opportunities.

• Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to enhance clinical practice and treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, who are primarily seeking help for mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is vital in providing a supportive and understanding environment that fosters client engagement and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts is a must.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans based on client assessments.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy services, showcasing solid interpersonal skills and the capacity to build rapport with clients.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and care coordination.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and streamlined communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in telehealth service delivery is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
