Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including collecting detailed patient history and performing specific assessments to establish diagnostic challenges and treatment plans.
• Engage in clear communication with patients and their families regarding evaluation findings, treatment strategies, and goal-setting to ensure collaborative care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement effective treatment protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt care plans based on observed outcomes and consultation with multidisciplinary team members.
• Handle discharge planning effectively, ensuring patients receive clear instructions and follow-up care to maintain their rehabilitation journey post-treatment.
• Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately in the WebPT EMR system to maintain compliance with government regulations and accreditation standards.
• Participate in departmental activities aimed at improving workflow, patient access, and overall service delivery, and help identify and minimize barriers to care.
• Serve as a mentor and clinical instructor to junior staff and interns, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about our services and foster good relationships with local resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population you will serve includes individuals rehabilitating from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our approach is customized and evidence-informed, enabling you to help diverse clients achieve their personal wellness and activity goals. We prioritize both physical recovery and emotional support, ensuring holistic care tailored to individual circumstances.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey.
• No history of disciplinary actions or complaints with the licensing board.
• Solid expertise in manual therapy techniques with the ability to utilize them effectively in treatment planning.
• Experience in developing and implementing various exercise protocols that meet patient-specific rehabilitation needs.
• Proficiency in WebPT EMR software for easy documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is highly desirable.
• Background in physical therapy research, education, or community involvement can provide an added advantage.
• Experience with patient education and the ability to adapt communication strategies based on patient understanding.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
