Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of student needs, including psychological evaluations and behavioral observations, to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions such as solution-focused therapy and cognitive-behavioral strategies to promote client well-being.

• Maintain confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation for all services rendered.

• Collaborate closely with educators and school staff to create supportive environments conducive to student learning and mental health.

• Provide psychoeducation to students and families, helping them to understand mental health challenges and effective coping strategies.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest mental health research and treatment methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing various emotional and psychological challenges. Our diverse clientele includes students experiencing trauma from home life, socio-economic struggles, anxiety related to academics, and issues related to self-esteem and relationships. Your work will be crucial in providing these students with the tools and support they need to thrive both personally and academically.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• At least two years of clinical experience, preferably in an educational or school-based setting.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with students, families, and team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
